AKIA CHOKER

As I explored this collection, I studied the craftsmanship and geometric patters that made up African Mudcloth. It was my hope to honor the craftsmen but also bring it to life in a unique modern way. The plate like structure of AKIA (ah-key-ya)is one that was inspired by warrior chest plates.
